Carpinteria Valley Museum includes exhibits that reflect the histories of the three cultures that have dwelt in the region: the Chumash people; Spanish and Mexican settlers; and the pioneers. The museum hosts historical photographs that reflect the development of the region as well as artifacts left behind by former inhabitants.
The Carpinteria Arts Center aims to inspire creativity by providing a diverse menu of cultural programs that enrich the lives from the young, to the young at heart. The Arts Center offers a plethora of opportunities for residents & visitors to gather together to celebrate the picturesque coastal town.
